W Monks constructed a new car 60 space car park on the North West Ambulance Service Broughton Site. A SUDS system was used due to lack of any drainage connections on site. the car park was programmed over 8 weeks and completed on time and under budget. This scheme was the modernisation and improvement of the Library facility at the Clitheroe Royal Grammar School 6th Form which was originally built in 1912. Works involved careful removal and preservation of now redundant benching, wall panelling, and other historical fittings, formation of a new insulated floor, heating upgrades, electrical works, ventilation, and fit-out of book cases and benching for student use. W Monks carried out a refurbishment project at this school during the summer holidays in 2013. The project involved the refurbishment of 4 toilet areas including forming a specialist nursing room and the refurbishment of the main school corridor. The electrical installation was carried out by our own NICEIC approved electrician. The works had to completed during the summer holidays to be ready for the school to occupy for the Autumn term.
