W Monks (Longridge) Ltd were contracted to demolish and rebuild the front of an existing mill building, including new internal steel frame to support two partition walls to separate attached properties.
We removed the roof and renewed it using structural trusses, then re-slated the roof, and applied a K Rend render coat and left building ready for the client to continue the internal fit out for six separate apartments.
The company was formed in the 1930s by the late William Monks whose family continue to maintain and expand the business today.
Most of our 38 employees, which includes builders, joiners, electricians, plasterers and apprentices, have been with us since leaving school.
